Broncos have historic home-opener record over last 20 years

Even without fans, history suggests the Denver Broncos will have a distinct home-field advantage Monday night.

Over the last 20 seasons, the Broncos have gone 18-2 in their home openers, according to data provided by SportsBetting.com.

And since sports wagering is now legal in Colorado, it's worth noting that during their historic run at Mile High, the Broncos are a profitable 12-4-4 against the spread (4 pushes).

During the last 20 years, the Falcons, Patriots, Ravens and Seahawks have gone 16-4 in their home openers so the Broncos bested each by two games.
