The NBA is doing everything it can to remain in the public eye amid a global pandemic, and bettors around the world are applauding the league's efforts.
On Thursday, the Association announced the eight competitors for Sunday's H-O-R-S-E Challenge presented by State Farm, which will be broadcast on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET. The complete odds are below.
There is no word on whether the on-court action will be pre-taped or live. Last week, results for the NBA 2K Players Only tournament were apparently leaked, which resulted in irregular betting patterns, and ultimately losses, for some sportsbooks.
"We hope this is going to be a live event so nothing leaks out, but at this point, we don't have a choice. We're just trying to keep customers engaged and entertained," said Robert Cooper, Odds Manager at SportsBetting.ag. "The NBA does a great job marketing its product, even better than the other three major U.S. leagues, and we're fortunate they are always thinking progressively and proactively."
Despite not knowing production details, the online sportsbook came back with futures odds for the NBA 2K tourney, with the quarterfinals tipping off tonight on ESPN2. It also has head-to-head lines, and at this point the betting action has been fairly equal, according to SportsBetting.ag.
