Lakers early frontrunner for 2021 title; Nets favored in East

While the Miami Heat try to make a series of this season's NBA Finals, the early odds projections for 2021 put the Lakers in the same position they're currently in...title favorites.

SportsBetting.com, a licensed sportsbook in Colorado, has set odds for the 2021 NBA Championship, as well as the Eastern and Western conferences.

The overall frontrunners, the two teams from L.A., shouldn't come as any surprise, but the East favorite may turn some heads.

However, with a healthy Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Steve Nash may be able to run through a pack of middling East competition in his first season as head coach.
